This is a very touching and heartbreaking story.

Touching, yes, for the family and also the extended family. But I have to side with the brothers, I believe this was planned and executed. The only heartbreak, to me, is if Henry mis-judged and ended up in the river, but with immediate and subsequent searches of the river I'd like to think this was not the case. Best wishes , Greg, for a positive outcome one day, and if not that, some form of closure!

There is more to the story of Henry's disappearance. Henry was 18. He had already graduated from high school and was in the middle of taking a year off. The summer before he "disappeared,"

he traveled to Missoula, Montana, to visit his best male friends who had moved there to go to college. It is here that I believe that the elaborate plan was hatched. After that, it was just a matter of timing. Megan was correct to question why there was only one 9-1-1 call from someone who saw a person wearing "white shoes" climbing down the repair scaffolding on the Hawthorne Bridge. All four of the younger brothers did not buy the story that Henry committed suicide. Even the family dog didn't buy that story. I have visited Missoula every year since his disappearance. I am in Missoula right now. I thought for sure that I might see him on the streets downtown. This is the perfect place for Henry to bloom.

I suspect if you are, or were, in Missoula that you might look up some of his old chums and maybe find a clue. Good Luck, Greg.
